Tara D. Henley, DNP, APRN, PMHNP-BC, is a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner at Psychiatric Urgent Care in Towson. She has over 20 years of experience as a registered nurse. Henley earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing from the College of Notre Dame, followed by a dual master’s degrees in health administration (MHA) and a master’s in business administration (MBA) from the University of Maryland University College. She then earned a Master of Science in Nursing-Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner and a Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of South Alabama.
Her experience as a registered nurse includes many years as a critical care nurse, staff nurse, and assistant director of nursing. She has worked in various areas including oncology, clinical research, and as a float pool nurse covering all units from intensive care (ICU), tele, med-surg, and geriatric nursing.
