Supriya Narang, MD is the medical director for Sheppard Pratt’s outpatient community treatment. She received her medical degree from LLRM Medical College in Meerut, India, followed by post-graduate studies at the Medical College of Ohio and Michigan State University. Dr. Narang is board certified in psychiatry and neurology. Before coming to Sheppard Pratt, she worked as a psychiatrist at Michigan State University and White River Health System. Dr. Narang also has teaching experience with medical students and psychiatric nurse practitioners. Her research interests include the impact of metabolic disorders on psychiatric disorders.
Dr. Narang was Sheppard Pratt’s 2020 recipient of the prestigious Michael Edelstein, MD, Physician Humanitarian Award.
