Philip Polychroniou, MD is a psychiatrist on the adult service line at Sheppard Pratt. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Duke University, a master’s degree in biomedical sciences from Tufts University School of Medicine, and a medical degree from Emory University School of Medicine, where he was awarded the Anne Elizabeth and Harper Gaston Service Scholarship and the Scaife Advanced Medical Student Fellowship for research, education, and training in addiction. Dr. Polychroniou completed his residency in psychiatry at New York University Grossman School of Medicine. While in medical school and residency, he participated in many community service opportunities including serving as a psychiatry applicant mentor, a member of the psychiatry education committee, a graduate student mentor, and co-founder and co-director of the Mental Health Clinic at Clarkston Community Health Center.
