Melissa Mondich, LCSW-C, is a licensed therapist at The Center for OCD and Anxiety, specializing in the treatment of obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) and related anxiety disorders. She utilizes a friendly, compassionate, and strengths-based approach while providing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Exposure with Response Prevention (ERP).
Melissa has over 15 years of clinical experience, working with individuals and families in various settings including inpatient, outpatient, residential, in-home, and community-based services. She has worked at Sheppard Pratt since 2016, including more than three years working at The Retreat. She is also a certified Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapist. Melissa has both her bachelor’s and master's degrees in Social Work, earning her master’s from Appalachian State University.
Melissa is passionate about partnering with individuals and families and establishing strong therapeutic relationships. She encourages and assists effective use of coping skills, supports individuals and families in finding hope, and helps maximize one’s ability to spend more time doing the things they enjoy most!
