Marlene J. Dunsmore, LCSW-C

Marlene Dunsmore, MSW, LCSW-C, is a supervisor and a clinical psychotherapist at the outpatient mental health center in Gaithersburg, MD. She received her nursing degree in Canada, and her bachelor’s degree at the University of Maryland, College Park. Marlene earned her master’s of social work from the University of Maryland School of Social Work. Since 1991, she has concentrated her work with people with a chronic mental illness. Other populations she has served are the homeless, individuals with substance use disorder, imprisoned individuals, individuals with HIV/AIDS, and individuals with a history of trauma, post-traumatic stress disorder, and dissociative identity disorder.
