Julianna Eckman, LCPC, LGADC, is a therapist at The Center for OCD and Anxiety at Sheppard Pratt. She earned her master’s degree in clinical counseling from East Carolina University and completed both her practicum and internship experiences at PORT Health Services in adult outpatient treatment. Julianna is skilled in group facilitation both in person and online, crisis planning, crisis de-escalation, suicide risk assessment, and more. She provides trauma-informed care in both individual and group treatment, and her client-centered approach focuses on mindfulness and motivational interviewing. Before coming to Sheppard Pratt, she was an outpatient therapist specializing in OCD at Upper Bay Counseling and Support Services. Julianna has experience treating patients across age groups, working with individuals with physical and/or intellectual disabilities, and assessing and de-escalating individuals in crisis.
