Jooyoung Lee, PMHNP-BC, ACNP-BC

Jooyoung Lee, PMHNP-BC, ACNP-BC, is a dual board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health and Acute Care Nurse Practitioner at Sheppard Pratt’s Adult Day Hospital, where she brings a wealth of expertise and a compassionate approach to mental health care. With 18 years of combined bedside and advanced practice nursing experience in trauma surgery, general surgery, and hospitalist medicine, Lee has demonstrated a profound commitment to excellence in her field. She holds a Master of Science in Nursing from New York University, where she graduated as valedictorian in 2011, and further honed her skills with a Post Graduate Certificate in Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from Duke University in May 2024. A 24-year veteran of the US Army, she recently retired as a Major from the US Army Nurse Corps, having completed four combat and non-combat tours in support of post-9/11 and COVID operations.
