Emily Berich-Anastasio, MPH, LGPC, is a licensed graduate professional counselor at Sheppard Pratt’s Hospital Outpatient Clinic and the Center for Autism. Emily provides psychotherapy services at the Hospital Outpatient Clinic, focusing on youth and adults with neurodevelopmental disorders, and performs diagnostic assessments at the Center for Autism. Additionally, Emily is a Data Engineer in the Data Management, Analytics, and Reporting (DMAR) Department. In this capacity, she is involved with various point-of-care research and innovation initiatives, including the development and implementation of measurement-based care practices and clinical application of psychometric data.
Emily earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Neuroscience from the College of Charleston. She then earned a Master of Public Health degree from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, in addition to Graduate Certificates in Public Mental Health Research and Mental Health Policy, Economics, & Services. She later earned her Professional Counseling Studies Certificate from University of Baltimore. Emily is certified in clinical administration of the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS-2) and has earned research reliability status in ADOS-2 administration. She is additionally certified to administer the NIH Toolbox. Emily is Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt certified. Emily is passionate about working at the intersection of clinical care, public health, and research and innovation while providing evidence-based and data-driven care.
