Celia Foster, MD

Celia Foster, MD is a psychiatrist at The Retreat by Sheppard Pratt. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Swarthmore College, followed by a medical degree from Emory University School of Medicine, where she graduated cum laude and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. Dr. Foster completed her residency at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City, where she also served as chief resident. She has additional training in interpersonal psychoanalytic psychotherapy from the William Alanson White Institute and completed the psychoanalytic fellowship at the New York Psychoanalytic Society and Institute.
