Andris L. Dominicci, MD, is a child and adolescent psychiatrist at Sheppard Pratt’s Adolescent Mood Disorders Unit. She completed both her general psychiatry residency and child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship at the University of Puerto Rico Medical Sciences Campus, where she served as academic chief resident and was the American Psychiatric Association's Puerto Rico chapter resident representative. During her fellowship, she was recognized for her outstanding creativity, innovative implementation of psychotherapeutic strategies, and patient management in the Adolescent Inpatient Unit.
Dr. Dominicci received the 2023 Arnold P. Gold Resident Humanism and Excellence in Teaching Award in recognition of her exceptional teaching skills and commitment to the compassionate treatment of patients, families, students, and colleagues. She is board-certified in general psychiatry, with additional certification in perinatal mental health and advanced training in dialectical behavioral therapy.
Dr. Dominicci is a member of the American Psychiatric Association (APA), the American Association of Community (AACP) , the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (AACAP), and Asociación Puertorriqueña de Psiquiatras de Niños y Adolescentes (APPNA), and the International Marcé Society for Perinatal Mental Health. She is fluent in both English and Spanish.
