U.S. News & World Report Ranks Hospital No. 6 Based on Reputation
For 26 years running, Sheppard Pratt Health System has been ranked among the top hospitals in the country for psychiatry, this year landing the No. 6 spot overall, according to U.S. News & World Report’s “Best Hospitals” rankings released today.
The ranking is based on reputation, paired with a percentage of the psychiatric specialists who responded to U.S. News surveys reporting Sheppard Pratt among the best for handling difficult cases.
In total, U.S. News analyzes more than 5,000 hospitals to find the best in the nation. Fifty-five hospitals in total received nominations for their work in psychiatry.
