New Medical Director of Geriatric Services Joins Sheppard Pratt Health System

Marc Zisselman, M.D., joins Sheppard Pratt Health System as Medical Director of Geriatric Services, stepping into the position this month.  

In this critical role, Dr. Zisselman will lead Sheppard Pratt’s services for older adults including the two geriatric inpatient units: the Geropsychiatry Unit and the Geriatric Neuropsychiatry Unit.

Prior to Sheppard Pratt, Dr. Zisselman served as Associate Chairman, Department of Psychiatry at the Albert Einstein Medical Center; and Associate Professor, Department of Psychiatry and Human Behavior at Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, Pa. He graduated from the University of Pennsylvania, obtained a graduate medical degree from New York Medical College in Valhalla, and conducted residency training at Albert Einstein/Montefiore Medical Center and North Central Bronx Hospital.
