Hannah More Graduate Attends 1,260 Consecutive School Days, Honored with "Iron Manny" Award from Cal and the IronBirds

Cal Ripken catches Manny’s first pitch on 2131 anniversary night

A recent graduate received the honor of a lifetime this week when the Aberdeen IronBirds awarded him the inaugural “Iron Manny” award on Wednesday, and invited him to toss the first pitch before that evening’s game.

Emanuel “Manny” Dunstan, 18, graduated from Hannah More School, part of the Sheppard Pratt Health System, after 1,260 consecutive school days.

“The efforts put in by this student overall are indicative of his success,” said Michele Brill, director of operations for the school, which is now called The Forbush School at Glyndon. “When you show up to school on a regular basis and commit yourself to learning, good things happen. We are exceptionally proud of Manny!”

Manny was honored during the 20 year anniversary celebration of Cal Ripken’s 2131 consecutive games record.
