The unit is designed for crisis stabilization; our goal is to move individuals to a less-intensive level of care as soon as it is safe to do so. Individuals generally come to our unit for care when their behavior has become problematic or unsafe at home, after attempting suicide or experiencing suicidal ideation, or when anxiety is so severe it cannot safely be managed in the community. We treat individuals with depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, personality disorders, and more.
