Single Case Agreement

A single case agreement is an agreement in which a medical service provider, such as a health system, psychiatrist, psychologist, counselor, or therapist enters into an agreement with an insurance company they are not contracted with, to act as if they are contracted with them for a single patient so they can treat that patient. Through using a single case agreement, the patient can see the provider using their in-network benefits.
