Advocacy

Advocates seek to protect those who are vulnerable - patients, people with disabilities, children, the elderly, and others. Advocates ensure that those being advocated for have their voices heard, that their rights are protected, that they receive the care and treatment that they need and deserve, and that their wants are accounted for when decisions are being made. Advocates work in many fields, including health care and special education.
