Visiting and Staying in Contact: Young Adult Unit
Friends and family serve an important role in recovery and wellness. There are daily opportunities for you to visit your loved one during their inpatient stay; we encourage you to visit as often as you are able. Visiting policies and hours will be discussed during the admissions process. Please reach out to the unit staff for more information.

Visiting Guidelines
- Due to space limitations, we ask that only two visitors be present at a time.
- Visiting must occur in designated visiting areas (dining area and group room); visiting may not occur in bedrooms.
- If a patient does not want visits from a specific individual, we will honor the patient’s request.
- No individuals under the age of 18 may visit the unit unless accompanied by an adult; no children under the age of 12 may visit without an order from the psychiatrist.
- All visitors must display ID upon entering the unit.
- To ensure the safety of our patients and staff, no personal items (e.g., bags or purses) or cell phones or cameras may be brought onto the units
- You may bring in food for your loved one; patients are often very appreciative of this gesture. All food must be consumed by the end of the visit.
- Only beverages with unbroken seals are permitted on the unit; fast food cups are not allowed.
- The clinical team has the discretion to modify visitation privileges as necessary to ensure a therapeutic environment.
