The Art for Justice show provides an opportunity for clients in Sheppard Pratt's Rehabilitation and Recovery programs to showcase their artistic talents as it relates to social justice and the current climate we are living in. Approximately 100 clients across 10 programs, all of whom live with various mental health disorders, participated in the 2020 art show.
This art show provides a medium of expression for clients to share their experiences as they relate to injustices experienced by marginalized communities. Through Art for Justice, we show our support for the value of peaceful self-expression, in addition to our respect for and acknowledgement of diversity, inclusion, and unity, which align with Sheppard Pratt’s guiding principles.
